SSI is an internationally recognised environmental initiative in partnership with the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), Emirates Schools Establishment, and sponsored by bp, allowing youth to explore the environment and learn ways to reduce their ecological footprint, while creating a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the future by addressing their own environmental impact.

SCI is a youth initiative sponsored by Borouge. It mobilises the enthusiasm and energy of youth to make change within themselves, their university campus and their community. Youth discuss and work on current environmental imperatives such as climate change, and the depletion of natural resources, in addition to the economic, social and cultural dilemma that seem to be the hallmark of our globalised world. SCI is designed to provide a road map for youth in the higher education institutions to tackle this uncertain future.

The Enviro-Spellathon is one of EAD's pioneering programmes since 2001 sponsored by Shell. It is a tool used to educate students about the environment including local flora, fauna and environmental issues in a way that is accessible for everyone.
